Our farm immediately embraced the philosophy of organic and local production, entering a market in full expansion on the Italian territory to offer the best products a land expertly cultivated and cared for can offer.

Organic food culture

La Valle degli Aragona in Favara was founded by its current owner Gaetano Chiapparo who, together with his collaborators, set up a solid company that concentrates its production on the Sicilian territory.

The enterprise was founded in 1992 as an oregano production company and then extended its production by introducing the cultivation of aromatic plants such as fennel, black pepper, chilli pepper, sage, bay leaf and rosemary. The company produces organic products aimed primarily at grocery stores, like flavourings, spices, condiments, preserves and jams.

Advanced organic cultivation technologies

La Valle degli Aromi's philosophy is to enhance the genuine flavour of individual territorial productions with high value and nutritional characteristics. The main stages of growing organic products are divided into sowing and harvesting herbs, which change according to the seasonality of the product.

Finally, after the drying process, the organic products then go on to be packaged and labelled.

La Valle degli Aromi applies advanced methods of cultivation when it comes to aromatic herbs, and its virtuous model is the subject of study by the Universities of Palermo, Bari and Modena. It also collaborates with the International Federation of Officinal Plants Producers, which has placed the Bosco company in first place worldwide in terms of the highest concentration of essential and qualitative oils in the cultivated plants.
